Refund policy

Novalberg undertakes to deliver products that comply with the order and are free from defects detectable at the time of purchase.


All products sold on this website are covered by warranty. The product warranty lasts for 12 months (3 months for used products unless otherwise communicated by us) from the invoice date and does not cover anomalies in electrical and/or electronic parts, defects caused by wear and tear, improper use of the product, modifications and/or repairs carried out by the customer, or misuse. The warranty does not in any case cover direct or indirect damage to persons or property.


Transport costs are always borne by the customer both for return to our warehouse and for redelivery. Items considered defective during the warranty period will be collected by our Bartolini courier for the necessary inspections. The buyer may not exercise the warranty right if they do not allow the inspection deemed necessary by the seller.


For out-of-warranty products, the customer may request a repair quotation from Novalberg and may choose whether or not to accept the repair costs. If, prior to preparing the quotation, it is necessary to return the equipment to our warehouses, in addition to the above-mentioned round-trip transport costs, a flat fee (which will in any case be communicated in advance) will be charged to cover the preliminary technical inspection carried out by one of our technical support/maintenance staff members.

 

Before returning goods, the buyer is always required to request return authorization by sending a request to the email address novalberg@libero.it. Shipping costs for delivery to our premises and for return shipment are entirely borne by the customer and must be paid in advance before collection from the customer's address. After payment of the shipping costs, we will arrange for our Bartolini courier to collect the goods from the customer's address. Returned goods must also be accompanied by the transport document and must arrive complete with packaging and accessories in their original condition.


For returns made without prior authorization, Novalberg reserves the right to refuse the goods and, in the case of returned products with missing accessories or packaging and/or not in their original condition, Novalberg may apply any measures deemed appropriate for the situation.


Once the defect has been confirmed, Novalberg may carry out the repair directly or have it carried out by third parties, or proceed with replacement. During the warranty period, if manufacturing defects are found, no labor or replacement part costs will be charged, while shipping costs for warranty-approved spare parts to the customer’s final location will always be borne by the customer. If the customer, regardless of warranty coverage, requests technical intervention at their premises, Novalberg will promptly provide a quotation for the related expenses according to various factors (customer location, travel hours, accommodation, meals, etc.), payable according to the terms established at the time of the request.


If the defects found do not fall within the warranty terms, it will be up to the customer to decide whether or not to accept the maintenance and replacement costs after receiving a quotation.


In compliance with Legislative Decree No. 206 of 6 September 2005, “Consumer Code pursuant to Article 7 of Law No. 229 of 29 July 2003”, the customer (consumer), if not satisfied with the purchase, may return the products and obtain reimbursement of the price already paid in advance. Shipping costs for returning the product from the customer to Novalberg are borne by the customer.
The professional customer may not exercise the right of withdrawal.
The right of withdrawal does not apply to goods made to measure or clearly personalized or which, by their nature, cannot be returned or are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly.


The consumer customer may exercise the right of withdrawal within 14 days from the date of receipt of the goods by communicating the decision via email to novalberg@libero.it together with a copy of the document (invoice - transport document) and a description and codes of the products for which the right of withdrawal is exercised. The customer must then wait for our return authorization communication, which will be sent as soon as possible. Within 14 days of this communication, the customer must ship the goods at their own expense, in unchanged condition and in the original packaging, to the address contained in our return authorization email.

For private customers exercising the right of withdrawal, except for made-to-measure or personalized goods, a voucher equal to the amount paid minus any shipping costs previously paid will be issued and may be used for future purchases.

Products returned to Novalberg must be sent no later than 14 days after communicating the withdrawal.
From receipt of the products until their return, the customer is required to store and preserve with the utmost care and diligence the products received and for which the right of withdrawal is intended to be exercised, keeping them intact together with the original internal and external packaging and all accessories. All expenses and risks arising from transport operations for returning the products are entirely borne by the customer, without prejudice to the customer’s right to insure the shipment at their own expense. Products may only be returned via courier or postal service.


Improper exercise of the right of withdrawal, according to legal and contractual provisions, entitles Novalberg to return the products to the sender, with additional shipping costs.
The return of products is always subject to the integrity of the purchased products.
Novalberg will not accept returns of products tampered with by the customer, or goods returned incomplete of their essential elements and accessories.

 

 

JURISDICTION

In the event of disputes, the competent court shall be the Court of Naples.
