Melamine is a high-quality BPA-free thermosetting resin used for making plates, cups, bowls, glasses, trays, and other kitchen and tableware equipment. Aesthetically similar to porcelain, it is extremely light and break-resistant, with a shiny and smooth, robust and solid surface. It withstands temperatures ranging from -20° to 70°C and can be placed in the refrigerator or freezer. It does not absorb odors and is perfect for transport as it is not fragile. It cannot be placed in contact with heat sources or used for heating and preparing food in traditional or microwave ovens. It can be easily washed by hand with non-abrasive sponges and neutral detergents, but can also be washed in the dishwasher. The use of chemical products and hot oils is not recommended, and if sterilization is needed, it is recommended to use hot water for no more than 20 minutes.
